ACTED

ACTED (Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development) is a non-governmental organization that has been active in Yemen since 2012, focusing on providing humanitarian aid and development assistance to vulnerable communities affected by conflict and economic instability. The organization engages in emergency response efforts by delivering immediate assistance, including food aid and shelter, to those impacted by crises. ACTED also works to improve food security through cash assistance and agricultural support, while its water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs ensure access to clean water and promote hygiene practices to prevent disease. Additionally, ACTED emphasizes protection and advocacy for vulnerable groups, including women and children, and supports educational initiatives to ensure children can continue their schooling despite the ongoing turmoil.
