Job Description

Position Summary
Team Management
1.1 Manage a team of Daily Workers/Enumerators;
1.2 Ensures all activities are in line with general protection principles as relevant, including maintaining confidentiality of beneficiaries and colleagues and consideration of gender concerns;
Meetings / Coordination
2.1 Coordinate with project colleagues;
2.2 Participate in external coordination meetings as requested by the project Officer;
2.3 Organizes and participates in external meetings with community leaders and cooperatives, as requested by the Project Officer;
2.4 Participates in internal and external training as requested.
Project implementation
3.1 Support the organization and arrangement of distributions according to the SOP defined by ACTED;
3.2 To support the supervision of daily workers hired to support distributions;
3.3 Foresee crowd control, verification of beneficiary, and receipt of entitled MPCA by the beneficiary in exact amount as entitled in methodology;
3.4 To support the distribution of MPCA to eligible beneficiaries strictly following the verification process and methodology and standards defined by ACTED;
3.5 Implement the activities on the field as agreed with the Project Officer;
3.6 Ensure community acceptance of the project through positive interactions and clear communication with beneficiaries and communities in the field;
3.7 Takes into consideration the AMEU’s recommendations as communicated by the Project Officer;
3.8 Coordinate with contractors as requested by the Project Officer;
3.9 Implements complaints and response mechanism (CRM) as agreed with AME and the Project Officer.
Project Support
4.1 To support distributions and data entry after distributions as required;
4.2 To support with surveying of beneficiaries and others when needed;
4.3 To process data and information from the field – in particular, ensure quality, consistency, accuracy, truthfulness, and comprehensiveness of all distribution data;
4.4 To support mass information awareness campaigns to inform beneficiaries of distribution-related information;
4.5 Provide suggestions on improvement of the work process if needed.
Filing
5.1 To support the up-to-date files, beneficiary lists are maintained, both electronically and in paper form;
5.2 3.2. To support accurate filing of all processed documents, monthly consolidated filing of key project documents in the office.
Reporting
6.1 To support the collection of all data needed for reporting after distributions;
6.2 Provide regular and timely reports on the activities implemented for the project Officer;
6.3 Coordinate with the database team to ensure the data entry;
6.4 Take photos and draft occasional success stories as identified in the field and by PD team;
6.5 Report ideas and information from project staff or field visits, which may assist in future project proposals. Such information will be included in reports.
Security & Liaison
7.1 Considers safety and security in the field for the team and the beneficiaries;
7.2 Immediately report all incidents to the Project Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Preferable of 1 year and above experience in cash distribution or other type of distributions in general;
2. Preferable experience of a project implementation position in an NGO;
3. Excellent verbal communication skills;
4. Excellent team-working skills;
5. Flexible, with the ability to cope with stressful situations;
6. Good written communication skills;
7. Good computer literacy, including use of smartphones and MS Office (Word and Excel);
8. Good verbal and written English skills are an advantage;
9. Experience in the delivery of cash assistance is a benefit.
